Unlike ordinary polishes Swissvax waxes do not contain any abrasives. Swissvax waxes are available for every type of car paint finish. They are equally effective on old laquers as on modern water-based paints. The system consists of 2 components: A cleaning wax oil and a wax. Swissvax is very easy to apply and will not leave any white residue or build up along seams or in crevices.

An ordinary "polish" simply polishes a paint surface shiny while the lower layers of paint get dryand "starve". Swissvax restores valuable oils of the original paint finish. These essential oils, such as cinnamon, avocado and vanilla, used as carriers for the wax, give these products their wonderful aromas and create a swirl-free gloss. In fact it is this exclusive formula which creates a glow that goes beyond normal perceptions of "shiny".

Where it all began

The old chemist shop was the laboratory as well as the production site for the first jars of "Antiwachs" - a formula developed for precious antiques and laquers. The concours carnauba waxes for automobiles were originally only produced for the private use of Hans Anwander, grandfather and founder of the company.

The Anwander's family passion for colours, lacquers and waxes stretches over three generations. The original formulas have been refined and modified over the years. The Swiss factory today is dedicated to continously improve the product range and develop new formuations in response to customer needs, environmental concerns and technological changes.

At Gia's Detail, they use a variety of waxes, polishes, cleansers and other treatments to achieve superior results.

100% natural

The waxes that the team at Gia's uses have the highest Carnauba content of any wax on the market. And are all 100% natural products without the use of harsh chemicals or abrasives. In effect, it coats a car's paintwork in a smooth and glossy, yet tough and protective, water-repellent film, and even brings a shine to white and silver. A layer of 'Crystal Rock Wax' can last up to 6-12 months on your car and can be "topped up" with additional layers for even more protection. Although time consuming to apply (just ask the staff at Gia's!), it's easy to live with. Just use luke warm water a special sponge, micro fiber drying towel and pH neutral shampoo (wax friendly) in between treatments.

100% protection

Environmentally friendly water-based paint now used on all new vehicles is softer and more vulnerable than older finishes, so providing protection for your car is more vital. High content Carnauba waxes bonds to paintwork, forming a hard film (Carnauba is actually harder than concrete in its natural state) that diffuses UV and infrared radiation, protects it against airborne contaminants and can even help prevent stone chips.

100% waterproof

When exposed to water, Carnauba swells and closes its pores. This leads to the beading and sheeting of water this is characteristic of a car that has been treated with a high content Carnauba wax. The more layers applied the more waterproof it is.

Treatments and Applications:

The ultimate detail for the ultimate luxury and performance cars. With 61 stages (including paint correction) and approximately 64 hours of time and expertise applied to the vehicle, this detail is arguably the finest, most comprehensive and most expensive in the world.

At leastst four layers of 'Crystal Rock Wax' (76% by volume of ultra pure white Carnauba) are applied, over a period of 1-2 weeks. The protection and shine of these wax layers could last between 1-3 years, depending on mileage and storage factors. Price by application. 

Gia's 'All-out" Crystal Rock' - Full Day of Detail

This phenomenal wax is 76% by wax volume of pure Brazilian ivory carnauba wax, the waxes have one of the highest Carnauba content of any wax on the market.

In effect, it coats a car's paintwork in a smooth and glossy, yet tough and protective, water-repellent film. and even brings a shine to white and silver. A layer of "Crystal Rock Wax' can last up to 6-12 months and can be "topped up" with additional layers for even more protection.

When exposed to water, "Crystal Rock Wax" swells and closes its pores. This leads to the beading and sheeting of water that is characteristic of a car that has been treated with this high content Carnauba wax. The more layers are applied, the more waterproof it is. After three layers, it has been known by some clients dry their car with a two mile drive, caring for your car doesn't get any better.

The "Crystal Rock" service is recommended as an annual one-off treatment as well for your vehicle

A great way to experience the difference an Gia's Detail can make. Although the process takes less time and fewer stages than the Gia's Connoisseur Detail, no less care is taken. This is a great introduction to the Gia's Detail experience, or as an interim treatment between Connoisseur appointments.

All interior surfaces cleaned and prepared, including glass, headliner and all vinyl/plastic surfaces. Carpets and upholstery cleaned and disinfected utilizing a specialized dry vapor system. Leather surfaces are carefully cleaned using Swissvax leather cleaner, prepared and fed using Swissvax Leather Milk.
